100 Days of Writing: Day 12

Not good today. No actual writing done, just lots of planning and researching and gaining enough confidence in the story to bang it out another day. But then also WORK. AND ERRANDS. How are the things we call ‘life’ the most mundane of things? The bill-paying things. The paperwork things. The administratives, the chores, the avoidance of punishable offenses. Why can’t I say, when my freelance work doesn’t get done, well, you know, life got in the way. Where life is me, writing in a daze, character-drunk.

Heh. I’m still in a much better place than I was several months ago. I shall redeem myself tomorrow.
