100 Days of Writing: Days 14 to 24

100 Days of Writing: Days 14 to 24

I might as well be cheating! But no, I’d been writing, albeit slowly, every single day. I’ve never hit a thousand a day, though. Sometimes I get 20, sometimes 400. But I’ve made it a point to think about my story everyday and write about it somehow even if I’m on the road, thanks, Evernote.

I’ve done 3,193 words along that stretch of time, which comes down to an average of 319 words a day. It is not bad, but it is also not very good, at least with regard to my initial promise of a thousand a day.

But I’m not going to beat myself up over it. I’ve used that time to reconnect with good friends and with myself, visited a few churches here and there, etc. etc. I do weekly review logs, where I list what I’ve learned during the past week, and one key item for me was to never miss a chance to talk to people, because in the end, it really is all about the relationships.

In other news, I may in the near future buy a dehumidifier.
